VŠLG holds a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE). Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, students can spend up to a year studying at a foreign university, or they can gain experience in any foreign companies. Academic staff can gain experience teaching at a foreign institution, attend workshops and improve their qualifications.

VŠLG continues its successful involvement in the Erasmus+ 2014-2020 project period, when it was able to financially support dozens of its students during their semester studies at foreign partner institutions or during internships in European countries. The ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) project application for the following seven-year period 2021 – 2027 has been re-acquired and will thus continue to support students and staff in associated international activities under the Erasmus+ program.

Erasmus Policy Statement 2021 – 2027

The main activities of the Erasmus+ program include:

  • study stays of university students lasting 3-12 months,
  • student internships in foreign institutions and companies lasting 2-12 months,
  • teaching stays of pedagogical staff and
  • training of pedagogical and non-pedagogical employees of VŠLG.

Students can travel for 1 year in each cycle of their higher education, they can freely combine studies and work placement. In addition to studies and expertise, using a foreign language, improving communication skills and social skills, or gaining practical work experience is a very important part for everyone. These experiences are especially valued by employers. The student also meets colleagues from all over Europe, and their friendships often last a lifetime.
