Why study this specialization?

Classes focus on mastering the progressive trends of transport logistics and its application in various modes of transport. The student will gain an excellent overview of the planning, design and optimal management of transport and transportation processes using the principle of intermodality and comodality. “In creating this specialization, we paid attention to a balanced composition of technical, technological and managerial subjects so that graduates get not only the so-called hard skills but also soft skills. Thanks to this, our graduates become not only top executives, but also successful managers and entrepreneurs.” says the head of the bachelor's study department, Ing. et. Ing. Iveta Dočkalíková, Ph.D.

The specialization is taught only in the Czech language.

Jakub

In addition to quality lectures, I also got valuable contacts from VŠLG. I am still in contact with several classmates and thanks to work in various companies in the logistics industry and different focus, we can help each other even after a successful study time within higher education and expertise.

Vlastimil

At VŠLG I was taught mainly by experts from practice, thanks to which I was very well prepared for my professional career. I currently work as a Senior Director for Production and Supply Chain at Meopta - optika, s.r.o., where I am responsible for the management of production, assembly divisions and the supply chain area. I also work as a guarantor in information systems development projects.
