Úspěšně jsme prezentovali své příspěvky na 19. konferenci SGEM12.07.2019
Další rok v řadě využila Vysoká škola logistiky možnost prezentovat práci svých pedagogů na mezinárodním poli na konferenci SGEM 2019. SGEM je mezinárodní multioborová vědecká geokonference. Jednání probíhají ve 28 odborných sekcích. Na konferenci bylo letos přijato 1657 příspěvků, které jsou oponovány a publikovány v konferenčních sbornících a indexovány v citačních databázích Clarivate (WoS), Scopus a dalších. VŠLG publikovala 4 příspěvky, jejichž anotace uvádíme:
Digital Twins in the Production Organization

This paper deals with the effective usage of digital twin for managing and optimizing production in small and medium-sized companies. Simple and effective business operation is related to the necessary digitization of documents. A set of digitized information and production-related data are the basis for the creation of a digital twin. The use of a digital twin involves effective management, control and optimization of production within a set of several small and medium-sized companies with the same or technologically similar production. Basic (one) pair of twins is this way extended to set (more pairs) of digital twins. In a digital environment it is possible to work with the use of a digital pipe with multiple digital sources, the originals of which can be deployed in different locations and have different parameters. Verification of procedures and results can be done in the Wittness simulation program, which allows to verify both the accuracy of own simulated activities of above-mentioned pipes as well as the communication between the participating entities. The concept and design of communication interface is part of the proposed solution. The original idea of our digital twin pipe approach to optimizing of the manufacturing process is based on the CIIRC project.
Flood Evacuation Modeling and Planning in Czech Local Crisis Planning Practice

The focus of this paper is on the using geoinformatics by representatives of local government and local authorities in crisis management to refine and optimize the planning of the evacuation process of the population at risk of flooding which is the most frequent reason for the crisis situations in the Czech Republic. The main tasks in planning area evacuations, as the primary protection of the population, are the estimation of the number of evacuation vehicles required for the vulnerable population and the planning of evacuation or escape routes to evacuation centers. The responsibility of dealing with emergencies and in particular the protection of the population lies with the local government and their representatives who could use a commonly available software for geoinformatics and its tools for planning and better community preparedness for crisis situations. We present an optimization model of evacuation vehicle runs that can be used to optimizing the number of vehicles and calculating the time needed for evacuation. This model was tested by testing and was also used in the first case study mentioned in this article. Searching for suitable evacuation routes using geoinformation software is the subject of a second case study. We describe how to create evacuation maps.
Principles of Industry 4.0 in Teaching of Logistics

College of Logistics is engaged in the research of activities within logistics processes from production support to complete logistics chains. In this context, work is being done on the analysis of logistics processes according to the Industry 4.0 concept. The aim of the paper is to show the application of this approach in the teaching of subjects focused on logistic processes. In the paper, we want to show an attempt to manufacturing/production logistics “as a service” based on digital twins. (We understand that meaning of service in logistics environment is different.) This approach allows us to use not only classic one pair of the original and the model, but we expect the possibility of extension to multiple digital models (with a common general structure but different parameters) associated with multiple originals. In an unified digital environment, it is possible to work with multiple digital sources, the originals of which can be deployed in different locations and can have different parameters. Verification of procedures and results can be done in a simulation environment. This will allow users to verify the accuracy of their own simulated activities as well as communication between individual objects. The principles and design of communication interface is part of the proposed system. The original idea of our approach is based on the CIIRC project. This topic is step by step being incorporated into new subjects within the ongoing new accreditation process of professionally oriented bachelor and master study programs.
Acquisition Forms and Methods Of Education in the Context of Good Practice

The tertiary sector of education as an area providing the highest education is an area requiring continuous development that corresponds to developments in society and labor market needs. That is why it is necessary to continuously expand the diversification of acquisition forms and methods of education in cooperation with businesses and other institutions. College of Logistics provides tertiary education in logistics. The bachelor’s and master’s degree programs are professionally oriented. The emphasis in education is therefore on mastering the practical skills required to pursue a profession based on the necessary theoretical knowledge. The school responds to the changing demands and needs of the labor market. For the theoretical and practical training of students, teachers use not only classical forms of teaching but also new methods. In-service training labs for transport systems, geographic information systems, simulation, packaging and automatic shipment identification are used. It is common to teach with elements of e-learning (using LMS Moodle). The modern technology that the school has at its disposal enables the creation of telemost and the linking of teaching at the headquarters of the VŠLG and its educational center in Prague, possibly with other universities. Linking theoretical training at school and training in practice is implemented in the form of professional practice in companies. The paper presents examples of good practice implemented at a professionally oriented university in the Czech Republic.
Sekce 7 – Informatics
Doc. Kodym na konferenci předsedal sekci Informatics. V této sekci bylo přihlášeno k přednesení ve dvou blocích 6 a 7 příspěvků autorů z 5 zemí. Dalších 15 příspěvků autorů ze 7 zemí bylo prezentováno v posterové sekci (včetně našeho).
Za VŠLG byli na konferenci SGEM registrováni 2 účastníci – doc. Kodym a Ing. Kalupová a celkem 4 články 11 spoluautorů (anotace jsou uvedeny výše). Doc. Kodym předsedal sekci 7 – Informatika. Prezentace příspěvku Principles of Industry 4.0 in Teaching of Logistics byla vyhodnocena jako nejlepší ve své sekci. Všechny naše příspěvky budou opět vyvěšeny jako postery v odborných učebnách VŠLG.
